When using shades with up to 100% white hair coverage, the recommended developer strengths are 3%, 6%, 9%, or 12%, with a mixing ratio of 1:1. The color should be applied on dry hair and allowed to develop for 30-45 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Shampooing and neutralizing with BC Banasura Color Save products is then recommended.

For darker coloring, use 3% Color and Care Developer. For tone-on-tone coloring 1 tone lighter or coverage, use 6% Color and Care Developer. For coloring 1-2 tones lighter, use 9% Color and Care Developer. For coloring 2-3 tones lighter, use 12% Color and Care Developer.

For hair with worn-out color from previous tinting, a dual application using the colorist method for previously colored hair is recommended. Additional heat is optional and can reduce the developing time by a third.
